Masjid Project
Building New Hampshire’s First Islamic Center
We are working diligently to complete constructing as a purpose-built masjid to serve current and future generations. After years of dedication, we are close—your support can take us across the finish line.
Address: 166 Lagrange Avenue Manchester, NH 03104
2012 – 2007
Site Clearing, Foundation Work, Main Steel Structure, & Outer Shell
The site was cleared of debris, trees were removed from the construction zone, and a perimeter fence was set up. Sewage lines and underground piping were installed, followed by the construction of foundation walls. The building’s steel frame was then welded and bolted into place. Roofing, siding, and brick masonry were completed, and custom marble slabs were installed at the main entrance.
2013 – 2018
Interior Work, Entrance Excavation & Site Grading
With the building sealed from the weather, heated flooring and the metal staircase structure were installed. The surrounding ground was raised and leveled to align with the new main entrance. A second entrance near the Lagrange Avenue fence was built using steel and concrete.

Interior & Utility Installations
Present
Present – Current Status
To achieve partial occupancy of the building, several essential systems and construction components still need to be completed. These include critical utility connections such as interior gas and water lines, as well as plumbing and electrical work for the first floor. Fire safety measures must also be installed, including a full-building fire sprinkler and alarm system, along with a backup generator for life safety. Interior work like HVAC, insulation, drywall, flooring, drop ceilings, doors, and fixtures for the first floor is also required. Additional needs include window repairs, a security system, main entrance and vestibule construction, final paving of the parking lot, and reconstruction of Lagrange Avenue. While $386,455 in funds are currently available, an additional $773,545 is needed to complete these items and make the building ready for partial use.
